MUZASAF believes it is important for people, young and old, to get involved with projects that are close to their hearts. That’s why we run a number of different programs to help you find a way to get involved that works for you.
Zakat and Sadaqah promotes the welfare of every member of the Muslim community. Through MUZASAF, PEEP receives request to assist Muslim women.
On many occasions their options are limited and more dire if a single mother. MUZASAF has listened to stories of Muslim women being strongly persuaded to admit though untrue of being, mentally ill, remove their Hijab or addicted to drugs just to receive some forms of public assistance.
MUZASAF goal is to save these women from that reality and preserve their dignity during this time of need.
The Quran reminds us, “ And in their wealth and possessions (remember) the right of the (needy).”
One life event can trigger a number of unexpected senior orphans difficulties. Due to the high demand for assistance and the low supply of providers, thousands Muslims are in need of a safety net.
MUZASAF received formal Zakat request . For each case the critical need of the recipient was assessed. Zakat funds were allocated, only after recipients met all the conditions but we could not met all the pressing needs as a result of our limited funds.
Many recipients were thankful the Zakat Fund was made accessible though familiar community channels. We solicit your support in ensuring we meet the other pressing needs that are still pending.
MUZASAF is directing a strong stimulus for spiritual and social development. The diversification of MUZASAF’s allocation methodology allows qualified Zakat recipients to be assisted through multiple channels.
MUZASAF’s Zakat relief bags contains food, clothing, hygiene / first aid kits, towels and other necessities often greatly appreciated by those Muslims in need.
During Ramadan; food stuffs are given to aid the period of fasting and during Eid; we distribute meat and food to make the celebration period also happy for the needy too.
